I have a OnePlus 5T it's around 10 months old. I was using all types of headphones and earphones on the phone and was working very well but from past two months every earphone is popping out from the jack. Even I tried other earphones, it isn't supporting.

Have you tried to check and clean the port?

Please do understand that this is a forum of users like you. the limit of what we can help you with is mostly just software base issues.

Since you have checked and cleaned the port, the only thing you can do is contact OnePlus support via their website.

Stop arguing, it looks like a common problem, it started happening to mine as well, I have my phone since about April and it's only for the past 2 weeks that the jack pops out by itself. The port has been cleaned and it still does it.

My guess is that a piece with a string inside might be overused. Shall we hear a good solution here from other users or ALL go and spend hours trying to contact customer services?

Don't send it. Just start fishing inside the jack with a needle. The dust will be very very hard to remove because it's al smooshed together. Just start making little circles with the needle and try to get the dust out. Don't rush, take your time.

I had the same issue with my Xiaomi Piston earphones. It was a worn out jack on the phones, not the connector issue on the phone side. Then I bought 1More Triple Driver earbuds, which are more expensive and overall build quality is much better. Even the jack on the 1More phones is much bulkier, heavier and golden plated.
So I don't have this issue anymore.

I was having the same problem, tried this way and pulled out more fluff and dust than I could have imagined! Genuinely don't know how my headphones worked with all the stuff in there!

You do need to take your time and just keep at it, it will come

I for one am glad to have found this post, as it solved my problem right away. I never realised so much dust could get in there!

I'm also facing the same issue, I even tried cleaning the port. There wasn't that much of dirt and still it is the same.

Tried it but still facing the same issue.
--kept on trying, even after posting here, and then finally the mushy dirt started coming out. And finally after the cleaning part, used the earphones and it actually started working like it used to work.. thanks so much and a big thumbs up for the solution.

Solution: You will need to take it to the nearest oneplus service center. Tell them you have the headphones pop out issue. They will be cleaning the port with "IPS solution or water" (don't exactly remember the name). Hardly takes more than 5 mins at max. Once done they will ask you to check the port. Do not forget to carry your earphones which you are using. Trust me there is such a high amount of hardened dirt and lint stuck inside you would be shocked. It has happened twice in 2 years and I made a trip each time to get it resolved. And no, your DIY methods wont work. It really needs a solution which disintegrates the dirt and brings it out.
