CPU Temp is the program I am using. My friends use it as well and if they run the same benchmark they only hit 51C.

74 degrees in Antutu is normal but 66 degrees on Idle? That's not normal.

    Where do you live?

Have you closed all background apps and rebooted your phone?

Lol they are lying unless they have their phones lying in the freezer.

Antutu shoots the CPU temperature up to maximum really quickly during the full CPU float performance test

Do you have your phone in performance mode by accident maybe?

Look at the things that are running in the background. Do you see apps that uses a lot of processor power?

I find that really hard to believe... Do a factory reset and see if the problem persists..

I prefer CM12, but the issue is since I've updated to CM12 I do not have my phone rooted anymore and I have no idea how to root it without losing my files and only root it instead of a new ROM or whatever.

If you have TWRP and unlocked bootloader I think you can just flash SuperSU to root it... Not sure though. Please check with others. [IMG] You could also use a toolkit or do it manually with a computer. There are a few guides on the forums.
