    my phone just got updated. now while accessing the contacts I by mistake without reading it correctly I denied some permissions, now am unable to make calls from contacts. it is giving message : needs required permission. can I get help ??

    Touch and hold the contacts icon on app drawer. Select app info> goto permission and enable all required permissions.

    I added all the permissions. Yet, when I try to call, the phone still says "you've disabled a required permissions". also, it is not telling me which permission is denied.

    The trick is to change the settings in "Contacts" and not the "phone" app.

    It's supper strange! Why really the app needs my location for the phone call and it doesn't work anyway -- I can't add contacts

    It's soooo disappointing ! Can't use the phone one the normal way without adding contacts. Hope OP will fix it soon. And give us explanations why it demands so much permissions. And why without giving the location access to the phone I can't app a contract!?

    Unfortunately nothing has changed! I can't use my phone properly. I think even to switch to the old one :/

    Why the hell does it require location services to be able to use my contacts? I denied it and literally cannot access my contacts without allowing it location permission. I know how to enable it but am still baffled why it should require this and completely bar you from a basic feature without it.
