Hi guys
I've been a happy OPO user for more than a month now. Was using the Note 2 before this, but decided to give it to my mom since she was facing a no. of problems with her Lumia, which also had a broken screen. Now, however, the Note 2's battery life has deteriorated to the point where the SOT is very low, and she has to keep charging it throughout the day. I've been thinking of buying her a new phone, and there are a few options, but since my budget is limited to 15k at max., and I'm not very familiar with phones in this range, I need your help.
After using the Note 2, my mom has really started liking Android, as well as big screens. Therefore, following are the features I am looking for:
- Android (Kitkat or higher preferably)
- 5.5 in display
- 8 MP or more camera
- good enough battery life
- Total storage should be more than 16 GB (unlike mi4)
- Sub-15k range
I have been thinking of the Redmi Note 4G, which seems like a good phone. However, have read some negative reviews about build quality, camera and performance. I'm not expecting OPO-like performance in a 15k phone obviously, but want something sturdy that lasts. I don't have a great impression of Micromax, so not sure about the Yu Yureka. Plus, Redmi Note seems like it's much better than Yureka (except ROM of course).
Also, the upcoming OPO 16GB is also not an option, since 16GB is not enough for daily usage. Even if it was (can consider a compromise for OPO

), I am unsure it will be priced around 15k.
Are there any other branded/unbranded phones, say Lenovo, which give a good performance within this price range? Please note that the main constraint is that screen size should be big (more than 5 in screen).
Will keep updating new options suggested in the poll.
Thanks a lot!
