Return the device but I am sure they could send you a cover or bundle for your honesty. Talk directly with support

I guess he's banned, but don't worry. He's still alive and dedicated to Oneplus as ever lol. He needs to see a shrink.

Exactly, would not surprise me if they rewarded the OP with a small gift of appreciation. Or not you never know. They should if they are smart.

I'm pretty sure you are under no obligation to inform OnePlus of the mistake or to return either product. Similar things have happened before and although customer service usually tells you to keep the product some times you're not so lucky. According to game theory the best decision in this case is to not inform OnePlus of the mistake. And besides, judging by all the people that tagged Carl they already know and if they wanted the phone back they would will contact you if OnePlus cared about their customers we would have a 128gb variant. Here's an interesting article about this; go read it before Lifehacker shuts down.

I recommend keeping the phone for a few days in case OnePlus really wants it back (best not to burn any bridges) and then after that just give it to a friend.

I applaud your honesty and am not too sure if I would have done the same as you.

But sending it back and being honest is the right and just way to deal with this. It's basic morality, and it's described in the bible. Cause who does good, will be better off in the long way.

I'm surprised you bothered coming on here to tell us. I would just flogged one of the flippin' phones on eBay for a profit, case closed!

The Bible is not a good source here. It also talks about killing women for wearing different types of wool.

This would never, ever happen to me. If anything it would be the other way around, I'd get billed for two phones and only receive one. That's the kind of luck I have, which is none.

I applaud (and roll my eyes) at your honesty.

May I remind you that the bible is the ONLY source on basic morality, it is the base of everything you were taught to be. I don't want to start a religious discussion here. It's my personal opinion, and that of millions of christians around the world (and truth ;) ). Also I would like to ask you where you got the information that the bible contains killing of women for clothing choices, or types of wool as you call it. In my opinion that is, maybe not literally, a koran's verse...

I was raised by atheists. What you call biblical values is just common decency. I need no books for that.
