I currently have the OP3T and would like to use my music files as ringtones / alarms. My question about this is: is it possible without root, does anyone have experience with it?

Move to OP3T support section, where it belongs.
Please always remind yourself to post in the appropriate section if you want accurate help.

BTW, the answer is yes, of course.

With android you may use any sound you like as a ringtone WITHOUT rooting your device. I suggest to you: DO NOT ROOT ANY ONEPLUS! Leave it as good as it is!

I have copied my own .mp3 to the folder Ringtones and use this one.
It is really easy: In the sounds menu you've just to choose "Ringtone from intern memory" and select your file.
    DONE! :)

I can't seem to send pictures thru my messages - and can't seem to find any information how to correct this - it's a 7 pro model - I've also checked for updates but it's shows I'm up to date
