    Actually, on one official post or FAQ on OnePlus One the reason for shorter cable is mentioned to allow high current and faster charger. They posted longer cable has more resistance and to allow fast charging they made the cable short.

    The cable you ordered is two meters in length. If it can give same rate of charge as the official cable, it will surely be a great find. Waiting for your reviews.

    U can charge using both PC & wall charger
    Performance is same as stock, no difference.
    only thing is, the connectors are not gold plated as the stock cable.
    But thats not an real issue.

    so i have used it for 2 days now..

    Its clearly not as fast as the stock cable but its neither as slow as normal usb cables.. Its right between both...

    In the scenarios where long cable is rquired... It can certainly serve the purpose...

    The asthetic value of the charging cable is superb. Full marks for the colour combination too. But I am disappointed. The moment I saw it wrote was my reaction. When I started used it I found it to be very cumbersome, pathetic. It's so stiff it's like a whip. The way to connect is confused I mean you have to be extra careful while connecting it. my Lumia charging cable was equally strong not as appealing but I never had to check whether I am connecting it correctly. And one more issue the cable length is to short. Now I have to keep an extension chord close whenever I need to charge my phone. The design feature to wind up the extra cable and make the work space clutter free is not helpful. I an actually very uncomfortable using the OEM charging cable. They could have kept the cable simple yet attractive by maintaining the colour code. However flat cable is just a no no. I don't think any other company will not follow this design. But the good part is that most USB to micro USB cables can easily do the charging job. One plus are you listening. Improvements in charging cable should also be your focus. can we expect it soon
