    I have 3 apps in hidden space. Sometimes it can be opened or used without needing to unlock using a password. We just need to know the location where the app is.

    Yes. Also it can be opened from Settings -> App Manager

    Yep, that's the drawback but they designed it in that way, at the starting the hidden space don't even have the password protection option

    I use it to hide apps I rarely use and don't want to take up space in the app drawer. So it's not even used for security...
    Biggest security step would be to not to hand over a unlocked phone in other people hands. Or if you do use guest account or well...trust them 😉
    But that is just my view of the problem.

    The necessary level of security could probably be defined after these questions.

    How often does the phone end up unlocked in the hands of untrusted users?
    When it is how credible is it that that user actively searches for hidden apps? Should it even be unlocked in such a person hands?
    How often does a second unlock just mainly take extra time for your everyday usage?

    My own conclusion. No extra unlock is needed. I just want to hide rarely used apps.

    Totally agree with this. Hidden space for me is just to remove clutter from my app drawer.
    For security, isn't that what app lock is there for?
