    I love the low light black and white of the highline park. So much contrast always make a photo better and what a great camera. the Highline in just a beautiful place in the heart of NYC

    The picture of the building is beautiful. The colors are vibrant, the scene is active, and the lines of the structure with the lighting are eye catching but the black and white piece tells a story.

    I might be getting cheesy about it but I love art. The black and white and overall darkness of it can give a somber feel at first but if you continue to look it becomes hopeful. You see the industrial surroundings of what looks to be scaffolding, a warehouse or a building in construction, and an older gentleman in an ill fitted suit.

    He’s staring into the light, a light so bright he has to block his eyes. Meaning he has been there for some time in the darkness of that place but has finally found light. Maybe he’s lost and has been for some time? Maybe he’s been working there alone and he’s finally done. Whatever the case, he’s found the escape, the blinding light of day hitting his unadjusted eyes, he’s finally made it out and he’s free. Hope.

    The first pic of black and white one is surprisingly good. Still looking how the pic was shot with one plus. Maybe there should be some blogs on how to use one plus camera effectively.

    It's nice pic but to show the potential of detail in night needs to be up close on area that can be made out, don't get me wrong love seeing pictures like this but just seems to far and nothing to really focus on

    The pictures have a lot of color, depth, and detail. They look great and are much better than pictures from an Apple device. There are some issues with clarity when zooming in, but overall.

    There is however a question to be asked, are these pictures edited or original?

    I love that black and white shot. Shooting in B&W isn't as simple as converting from a color photo, painting in contrast takes a different aesthetic eye. I really like the blends of soft and strong shadows, from the subtle points on the overhead lights to the straight lines from the shadows cast by the sun!

    This is possibly due to the compression from uploading, but I find the image quality a little poor. You get a great idea of what this is and the scale. Zoom in a little and the quality degrades significantly though.

    Also, the angle of this photo stands out as something I would try and change. I haven't been here, so I can't say if it is possible to not have buildings in the background or at least have the buildings frame the subject more.

    - Great on the small screen
    - Image quality when zoomed decreases
    - Framing of the subject could be adjusted (if building placements allow)

    Photo by @Daisy K., is really good, but I think it would have looked better shot from a lower angle to make the building look larger/more impressive.

    Black and white photos are easy to take on any phone, it's usually easy to get a good picture. The real challenge is on the vessel photo. Although the color on the vessel is on point and the sky itself, the buildings around and the people look out of detail. It's not a bad picture at all, but not the best.

    I like the b&w photo of the man in light. The detail is nice as you can make out the individual shadows of each of his fingers strrched across his face.

    I feel as though the black and white picture could be brightened a bit to accentuate the lighting and the lines in his face really ruin the whole mood. The second picture should be zoomed in more to take the focus off the buildings on either side and make the focus be soley on the statue.

    I'm by far a professional photographer, but I do have experience in digital design.

    These are beautiful pieces of my city. The black and white photo is perfect. The architecture is incredible and not to mention the quality of the shots are on point.

    Everyone once in there lifetime should travel to NYC and enjoy a time like yours, see the sights, and enjoy the the art.
