How do I customize my oneplus buds with a t mobile 7t pro McLaren??? via OnePlus Community App

    I see no options to update the buds or customize their tap functions. I'm still with pre-release firmware on the buds. They're having some disconnect issues alongside other issues. This is ridiculous...

    I have the same phone, but I don't have the buds. I use V-Moda CrossFade 2; very pleased with them. But I have been watching people struggling with buds. I found this page in support:

    I am having the same exact issue. My phone is through t-mobile. I did device unlock. From my understanding its due to tmobile engineers being behind with the phones update to allow this. I am on the phone currently (on hold) with tmobile. This is just insane. Buy buds that work half the time due to tmobile. Did you ever find a fix?

    No fix as of yet.. never buying a phone from t mobile again. They're too slow to update.

    I concur. On the phone with tmobile tech support and they are trying to say the buds are the issue lol. What they dont know is I have another set of buds coming in tomorrow. ordered two by accident but ill test those as well and return one. The issue is tmobiles engineers are dog shit. Ill only be buying from oneplus website from now on. Its been close to two months now from what I see on the threads.

    now tech support is saying its the phone and they want to give me a new phone... im like thats not the issue.... the issue is the firmware.... just need him to put together a request for the engineers.

    Yup... Even the employees tend to not know how to properly address the issue. T Mobile needs to get their act together. What's the point of buying the latest smartphone from them if they're not going to update them in a timely manner? The consumer misses out on the latest features because of it.
