Noticed updates seem to come a lot later for users in Sweden. How come?

And I gotta say I'm really underwhelmed by how slow the updates have been rolling out. Not to talk about how little they've improved the usage of the phone functions. Get better ffs, you guys raised the prices to top tier level. Then f-ing act accordingly!

To add on what's been said in the above comment, they also roll them out in phases, only to a limited amount of random users every phase. Also, a lot of users don't like to wait for when it's their turn (which could take up to a month sometimes) and simply download and install it themselves with the use of a third party app called oxygen updater, if the update is available for their region.

It's a staged rollout, and guess we up in the north (SWE/FIN) always needed to wait a bit longer for some reason.... That's why oxygen updater is a great tool, or VPN to Germany/Canada

Sometimes, if there is an unusual bug, that hinders the performace of the device, they might release a improvement update, apart from the usual bi-monthly ones. You can always know about these in the announcement section of your device.

I thought the regional rollout was stopped and it was made device specific and random?

Sometimes I get the updates fast without any extra steps (in Sweden). Sometimes using an VPN can trigger an update to be received. But even that seems to stop working when a certain quota of the first rollout stage has been reached.
Besides the NA/IN/EU firmwares natural regional differences nothing has been said about any country limitations of rollouts.

Maybe, but the VPN trick has still worked for me every time. On the other hand I don't know if it's just pure luck :p
