    Hello all,

After all difficulties for an invite i bought the OP2 on 09/07/2015. It's been 4 days with the Beast!. I love the phone for it's look, clarity, camera, performance and speed.
But my phone gets heat up several times.
    1) Gets a bit warm while charging. If you use the phone temp increases.
    2) While using camera(with different camera modes) it's get hot and while shooting 4K videos it's get really hot
    3) while playing games which can be the case in most of the phones.
    4) sometimes in idle also i can feel the warmness at the back of phone.
    5) Heavy usage(continuous usage of 1-2 hours) makes really hot.

I checked CPU temp with an app max it can go til is 56C. at idle it is 34-39C
Did several 64 bit Antuntu Test. Results range are form 46k-52k

Other issues are like FP doesn't work a few times, few OS bugs(can be fixed by OTA updates). And the Battery is manageable for one day usage.

Updated to Oxygen 2.0.2 in first day itself. Build no A2003.

I'm in a dilemma whether to return or not to( last date to return is 18th). I love the phone except heating issue.
Is the heating issue is with all phones are only with few defect units?
Is the heating issue can be solved using OTA updates?

Please don't post here asking for the invites. :)

Edit: I'm not going to refund/replace because i feel all 810 processor phones are the same. Moreover i can't get a beast like this for this price.:)

I too had the same issue . Now with the phone (Replaced one) i dont have the heating issue that much, But yes it is getting warm at times. Still u have time so do the max test and if u r not OK then pls return the phone .

Amazon will rock you with the way they take the return, refund and getting you a new invite from OP2 team. So still you will get a new OP2 phone .......

NOTE : In the indian servce center you dont have parts for OP2..............

When you opt to return the phone through Amazon you will get two options: Replace or Refund. So no invite code is needed to get the replacement. Hope this helps.

My friend returned the phone the next day itself due to heating issues.
OP has dug it's own grave by going with 810...

Wrong ! Replacement is not available immediately,You have to return the phone and once the refund is initiated Amazon will send you another invite within 4 to 7 business days, Once you get an invite you can re order a new phone.

Must ask one of the Mods or carl about this heating issue. Even my OP2 tends to heat up and I am actuallt willing to wait until OTA update is release so that the heating and battery drain issue is resolved. If one of the senior mods or carl can confirm if they can resolve this through update I am willing to give OP chance to figure it out and fix it.

Wait for OTA, such issues can be resolved by it and moreover, this temp also depends with your surronding area.

I don't think any phone is actually made for 4k videos. IF in case you need to shoot 4k videos lets resort to the use of devices that are actually crafted for them. I am not sure about the rest of the issues that are occurring other wise.
