    The oxygen 3.0 update is doing goood overall but one of the most worrying problem is hheheh sound quality on the OP2. Since the Maxxaudio is removed, the sound is super shitty.

    Sound of the little tiny mono speaker? Was it ever good? All that app does is increase the volume. It severely distorts the sound when you're using headphones, so I always switch it off. It's useful once in a blue moon when I need more volume while watching YouTube on my phone. That being said, I would like it to be in the final build.

    It is not in the beta build but will be in the final version, you should have checked the terms of use before installing it.

    It was crap anyway. It interfered with other equalizers and never worked with play music or any other music app in general except SoundCloud. Its shit and a waste of space. Any third party Equalizer can be better than that

    The sound is horrible with the beta. If thats what make it sound like it sounded before then definitely bring it back

    The sound was way way better before!! That's the only downside for me at the moment!! :D Pretty happy with the beta though!!

    I am assuming that the Maxxaudio was the one that was delivering a comparatively better sound than what we have now. I feel like I'm listening to a mono sound module when I'm using my headphones. The bass and clarity are way off..

    But I can really feel the difference in the quality after 3.0. The sound in my headphones is like way crappy. Also I installed a third party EQ but that dint help much.

    Just use viper for the next 2 weeks until we get the full OTA and before anyone says it does not work on Oxygen it does. GIYF

    It should be in the stable release in a few weeks time. It could be that OP couldn't get the licence to ship it with it yet. so instead of delaying the whole OS they simply removed it

    Oh right because initially I thought that maxxaudio was only good for the speakers but listening to music through headphones just sounds awful, the right bass is gone
