So how do you take the back cover off, I have seen the video by OnePlus but it didn't work for me, I'm scared of damaging it. has anyone been able to take it off yet?

I've heard it's pretty likely you'll break it, so unless you're switching the back...

Take out your sim and slowly peel the back off. I was able to do it easily to add metal in the back to use my Mountek cd mount. ou will def need something plastic and thin to slide between the casing and the phone edge.

The battery's non-removable. If you're trying to take it off just for that, it'd be in your best interest to just keep it on unless you're changing out the back.

Well...that's up to you, but I think that its advertised as "non-user replaceable battery" And also, you will have to unscrew a cover to be able to disconnect it.

I'm pretty sure the only reason the back can come off is so they can have new back plates like the bamboo one. The battery will not come out.

Yeap, I agree but what i meant was that it's not practical to carry around a replacement battery to use it, if you have to unscrew a plat in order to be able to install it, IF you can take off the back plate LOL

Don't touch it. Otherwise we'll be seeing a new forum post from you in a couple days crying about how its broken, and if someone could spare an invite.

from what I read, you won't ever get it back to how it was, once you take the back off
When I get mine, I think I'll be fine with the way it looks
