    Great instruction... Thanks a lot.

I'm on 05q now, but when I do this, will it 'repair' my 05q, or will I come back to 44s without wipe anything?

If you choose any method of this you will go back to 44S, as far as now, you cant repair the 05Q but you can go back to 44S and update again :p

    Hello Martin,
Thanks for these instructions. But I am not able to access the 'Back to Stock v2 - Rep' web page. I am getting a 'web page not found' error message. Can you please upload the files elsewhere and post the new links?
    Regards,
    Manoj

Many Americans have this problem. This problem is NOT related at the Link, it is blocked b some Firewall (maybe american wide blocked)

But for you I will upload some of these Files at other hosters soon.

For the future please install ZenMate or any other VPN tool for doenloading these Files.

    Thanks Martin.
BTW, I'm not in America but in India... ;-)
Let me confess - I am a complete noob. So I just might bug you for some more detailed instructions to get back to 44S. This update to 05Q has wrecked the battery life of my OPO. It's almost like the Samsung Galaxy S5 that I had before the OPO.
Looking forward to the new links.

If you can't wake your phone after locking just flash the 44s modem. This usually happens when coming back from cm12. The sensors are messed up when rolling back to cm11s.

    Martin,
Thanks a lot for the new links.
I have downloaded the files as listed by you. I prefer the Repair mode - No Datawipe method of restoring the 44s firmware version.
    Mine is a stock OPO.
So my query now is - What do you mean by (1) Un-locked Bootloader (2) All necessary Fastboot-Drivers. Should I download these drivers? If so, from where?
Sorry for troubling you. But I really need the 'original' battery life on OPO, as I am traveling next week.

    Regards,
    Manoj

Dude if your Bootloader is not Un-Locked now you will get some Problems with doing all this without losing your Datas, Un-Locking your Bootloader will Wipe everything. Before you do this you should backup everything you can on you Computer.

If you are rooted or have a Custom Recovery this would make things easier.

You can install the necassary drivers from HERE.

No Problem! I hope for you that you are actually rooted or have a Custom Recovery, otherwise you lose some datas ..

Uh oh! This seems to be more complicated than what I imagined it to be.
Anyway, thanks for your help and guidance. I'll see what I can attempt without bricking my OPO.

    Regards,
    Manoj
