check beta thread... first you need to go back to 7.1.1 then update to 8.0

I would recommend you to stay on OPB19 as it is much stable as compared to OOS 5.0

If you still want to switch to stable branch, I think at this point a simple clean flash should do the trick.

You should be able to directly clean flash 5.0 and OPB18.

It is strange, I wonder why do you want to go back to such builds.

OOS 5.0 isn't always stable, i've many few bugs but it's not important, if you like experiment New feature go on 5.0.

It's opposite in my case the standby is much better.
I had to do clean flashes multiple times in the previous builds due to various bugs.

And for extra security I would recommend that downgrade (clean flash) to the special nougat build (mentioned in the beta thread) and then update to 8.0 via either OTA or local upgrade or flashing.

I don't need to, I have heard enough and its basically an inferior copy of OPB18 (in which i was on previously when the update came out.

I would rather recommend a factory reset or a clean flash of OPB19, as you have to wipe your data/app's anyways while making the switch.

I don't know how this, but 5.0 works creamy smooth with great battery life. (unrooted device)
some people find some builds very stable whereas others find the same build Terrible AF.
