How to identify the regional variants of OnePlus 8 pro

There are four regional variants of OnePlus 8 pro for China, EU, NA and India. How can we identify which is which by looking at the model number? For example, the one sold in Malaysia is IN2023. Does anyone knows which variant is this? The spec listed says it only supports 5G n78 which should be the variant sold in India.

Nothing to complain about on my model. I don't have the black crush or green/red tint some users are complaining about. All of my issues seem software based (bad 5ghz WiFi and bad scrolling at QHD+). The Chinese model seems to be a bit ahead of the other models when it comes to dual SIM support. I have dual SIM with the primary connecting to China Unicom on their 5G network and my secondary connecting to China Mobile on 4G (roaming using a T-Mobile SIM). I should add that the first thing I do when receiving a Chinese model OnePlus is flash OxygenOS. Worked like a charm just like the 7 Pro and 6T before it.

Anyone knows if there are hardware differences between the IN2020 and IN2025? Also I got the IN2020 but it came with OxygenOS loaded, is this normal?

If you DM me, we can chat on Telegram and see if flashing OxygenOS enabled bands 25 and N71, if so, then it's basically the same model and this stock crisis is bullshit.

yup. I am not sure if we flash it, we'll get the global version. the North American model is a bit different. I think the 5G bands mostly. rest looks fine to me.
