    Welcome guys ;)

For downgrade you need to flash the full rom for the respective version

    Not yet

    Working for me just checked

Its build to work over 2.1.1

    I'm in Oxygen 2.1.1 rooted:
If install fully 2.1.1 to unroot, install 2.1.2 and SU again, i lost xposed configurations and other flash i got??
is there another way to unroot that is not installing fully 2.1.1 again?

    Thnx

Thanks for the files! But if the installation fails anyway, is there a way to update without going through a recovery from scratch? I'd be quite annoyed to lose all my data...

is there any risk in flashing the ota update from the zip file given above rather than waiting for the update to arrive in my phone, will i keep getting future ota updates normally if i go for the ota zip file.

    Thanks for Thread.
The first times i installed 2.1.1 then OTA 2.1.2 then SuperSU 2.52 Beta and then Boeffla Kernel 1.0 Beta7.
Wipe Dalvik/Cache and reboot and it shows 2.1.1. This was because i flashed Boeffla Kernel 1.0 Beta7!

I again flash fully 2.1.1 then OTA 2.1.2 and then supersu 2.52 Beta and it works. Today i flashed Boeffla 1.0 Beta 8 and it works.

    All without Data Loss.

Without Data Loss you mean no apps or your home screens or launchers or icons or widgets were touched???

    The update is a shame!!
    - fingerprint does not work after some time in deep sleep. I have to unlock via pin, then its working again.
    - contacts are sorted via last Name. Can be fixed if i switch the sorting. But must be done after every reboot...

Can i downgrade if i flash 2.1.1 full zip? Stock recovery and no root

Sorry, it's a little bit confusing for me :

    • For the time being, I can install this update 2.1.2 via OTA or ZIP on my Rooted OP2 without any Data loss, but losing the root. I can Root again my phone 2.1.2, but I will lose all Data.
    • Or I wait for the Full 2.1.2 ZIP in order to update my Rooted OP2 without any Data loss, and without losing the root

    Am I wrong ?

    1) Download the Full 2.1.1 ZIP file to your phone.
    2) Download the 2.1.2 OTA file to your phone.
    3) Download the latest version of SuperSU to your phone.
    4) Reboot into TWRP.
    5) Flash the Full 2.1.1 ZIP file.
    6) Flash the 2.1.2 OTA zip file.
    7) Flash the SuperSU zip file.
7a) If you have anything else to flash (like AK Kernel or Boeffla or Xposed Installer), flash that too.
    8) Wipe/clear Dalvik cache. I don't really know if this is necessary, but it doesn't seem to hurt.
    9) Reboot the phone.

You should have OxygenOS 2.1.2 on your phone, and you should still be rooted.

    Thanks for your reply.
Just to confirm, with your procedure, I don't loose anything ?

You won't lose anything. After you flash your ZIPs, I think there's a screen that asks if you want to reset your internal storage or something -- sorry, I don't remember the question exactly -- just don't do that.

Flash the zips, wipe the cache, reboot. You'll be fine.

After installing 2.1.2 update I am not able to root the phone.
    I am using SuperSU 2.46.
    Any idea why?
