It's not easy to find this information on the community website, so this is what I did and that actually worked:
    1) Applied OnePlus' provided ZIP file to go back from Beta 10 to Beta 9. Link Here: https://oxygenos.oneplus.net/OnePlu...1908302053_fulldowngrade_f4811e96c7ad4b24.zip Video with instructions here:
    2) Followed what's described in this Youtube video, to go back from Beta 9 to Stable 9 (thanks CellPlus Media for that!!):
    3) Once back in stable 9, followed the usual upgrade options on the System menu to get to Stable Android10

Hope that helps other OP6T users!!

I am afraid that the method you mention, wipes the users phone by downgrading needlessly to Open Beta 9 and then back to stable Android 9 and then to stable Android 10.3.1.

How to Move from Open Beta 4 to Stable Version Android 10, 10.3.1, on OnePlus 6 or 6T without wiping your data

    1. Download the full Android 10 stable OxygenOS 10.3.1 firmware from here...

[Download] Stable Oxygen OS 10.3.1 OTA update for OnePlus 6 and 6T

    2. Use your phone's File Manager to Cut/Paste the downloaded OxygenOS file in to the /root directory of your phone, (/root directory = not in a file), and then install via Local Upgrade...

Settings > System > System updates > Menu (cog wheel) > Local upgrade

This method does not wipe your phone.

Alternatively, you could just install Oxygen Updater, free from the Play store, and use that to switch to the latest stable OxygenOS 10.3.1 build by selecting your model of phone in its Settings and Full update in Update method. Ignore any warning about loss of data and you will be updated from Open Beta 4 to stock OxygenOS 10.3.1.

(The above links DO work. If you cannot open them using the OnePlus Community app, switch to your Google Chrome browser)

No, your data will be fine because the version you are currently on is older than the build you want to move to.
