    You can't well you prob can but if you need to ask how you can't.
    It means you not connect to Google (WiFi or 4G) .

    i think he's referring to the bug that has been stated in the thread about cm12 bugs. i haven't looked into it enough to help you but i would say go to that thread and see because people have said it has to do with APN settings on your phone. hope i helped at least a little sorry i don't have the update yet haha.

    you can extract the systhem ui , settings and so on and look into this apks, u will probably find the icons in sysui.apk and then u could replace the image with exclamation mark , with an image that doesnt have the mark, then flash it to your sys. and its gone, but if u dont know how to do all that, its kinda not doable

    It's REALLY a nasty bug in the sense that when there's SUPPOSEDLY no signal, you revert to LTE (or 3G), wasting bytes on cellular (and $MONEY$!), this has been reported in Nexus forums (who have had the 12 since december), no solution at hand.
