I really hate to see the red 1 digit in the clock, I just switched from oneplus 6 to oneplus 8t and I really can't stand to see that annoying red number 1 in the clock every time. I can't find a way to disable this stupid feature that really ruins my whole experience of UI interface.

If you have these options I guess though could be the only way to get rid of the red 1.

Yes, the red 1 digit ruins my entire experience with OP as well. It's the most annoying "smart" feature.

@Viktor: how do I install another clock to show it on Always Display? I tried different things, but the clock is always this f***g one plus feature.

First of all you have to turn on the ambient display to be able to change clock types...however this DOES NOT change the type of clock used on the LOCK SCREEN! This clock (the one the OP is unhappy with) appears to be baked in.

Deal breaker for me. I personally have 6T and dont have this red number. (Thankfully)
Bought the Nord for my brother and i cant seem to remove the red number, its eating me up to see that sh*t everytime i open the phone. Really like the minimalistic and simplistic style of Oneplus and then they go and mess this up. Atleast give me a choice! Forcing me right into Apple

I got the red 1 on the lock screen clock last night together with the OxygenOS 11 update (I have 7T Pro) and I hate it. I can't explain it, it's so annoying, it makes it hard to see the time (don't get me started at those who are e.g. color blind, not even embarrassed to pull the 'this is borderline ableist'-card).

I just cannot grasp the fact that this tiny pointless thing ruins the whole experience for me.

Why not add a feature that lets people change it if they want to? I don't care that red is OnePlus' signature color, this is terrible UI design and it gives me "graphic design is my passion"-vibes. I thought OP were supposed to be the superior phone; being able to customize it to your liking? No, I'm disappointed. I don't care if I sound over dramatic because I'm mad. Fix this shit ASAP.

I feel your pain man. Since Oxygen 11 they forced that red "1" on lockscreen clock (not the ambient display where you have at least some options), they also forced it to expanded toggle area. I'm really mad they did this and I absolutely hate that it can't be turned off.
It's one thing using branding color in ads and paperwork, It's another to use it on functional elements of UI, WITHOUT the ability to turn it OFF. That is absolutely unacceptable.
