we need the full ROM zip in order to extract the boot image, and later on patch it.
hopefully OnePlus drops is soon because I'm extremely eager to root mine.

Just download Payload Dumper, follow the instructions in the readme file, patch boot.img through Magisk Manager, and flash it via Fastboot. I'm looking for a way to get /system to remount as rw but it's slow-going

Hi first time here I'm in the process of purchasing a Oneplus 7t Pro phone. My question is will this method work on any One plus 7t pro or do you have to purchase an international version and also my carrier is T-Mobile will I be able to have features and will it work correctly on the T-Mobile network?

you mean the McLaren edition? or are you talking about importing the phone. if the latter it depends on where you import it from

Wow now I'm confused. I was referring to just the Oneplus 7T Pro not the McLaren Edition. Do I have to have an International variant or will It work on US variant as well, my carrier is T-Mobile I live in U.S. I need to know this before purchasing I would like to root and have phone functioning correctly. Don't want to spend the money on a phone that's not going to work. Its HD1910.

Why would you do this? Why haven't you tried? Why are you asking others to work for you for free on something that makes absolutely no sense right now?
    Why?

what the hell do you mean, I'm asking a question. do questions cost money now. and heck, I was actively searching for a way to root it and I did, I was the very first person to root the OnePlus 7T Pro and if you would've checked my profile you would've seen that I even made a guide on how to do it. and guess what, the full guide on how to root is ******* free and I worked a couple days trying to figure it out

I very much doubt that. In fact I know you weren't. If you knew anything you would have known that I would know and that I'd reveal your blatant lie.
You really should pay attention and you also explain why you need to root a new phone. Please explain.

Hi do you know of anyone using global on T-Mobile US?HD1910 global I've read some people comment that it won't have 4g speeds because it doesn't have band 71 others say that it would. I'm confused I just purchased the HD1910 version and now I'm concerned it won't to function to its maximum capacity. Good thing is I have 30 days to return it. Appreciate any info you can give me. Thanks

Hi I received my phone and yes all I needed to do was insert SIM card and was up for business. I did that when I received my phone this past Wednesday. I was able to successfully unlock the OEM but I wanted to lock again so I can get some updates. I don't know what happened but now I get this message as seen in the picture, the phone is non responsive when I plug it in my laptop it makes the sound when it connects but it doesn't show and rapidly I get the disconnecting sound. I tried getting into bootloader manually but all it does is the screen turns black and when I try the error comes back on a loop. Am I done have I put $729.99 down the toilet? Do you know a fix or direct me to where I can find a fix? I tried the unbrick tool but I can't use it because of what I explained earlier. If you can help me that would be awesome thank you.

Hi I finally was able to get the phone working, I was already aware of XDA forum. I am a member my previous phone was a Samsung Note 8 coming from this phone the OnePlus is a totally different monster I was not aware of EDL which is awesome when you think you totally bricked your device your PC can still recognize it. Anyway learning as I go. I was only able to achieve Root through Magisk. Thank you.
