    Hydra Bob, May 23, 2019 :
You'll need two files to permanently install TWRP on an A/B device. The first being the TWRP .img file, which should be stored on your PC, and the second being the TWRP installer zip, which should be placed in your phone's storage.

Start by booting your device into fastboot mode and running the command

    fastboot boot twrp.img

Replace "twrp.img" with the actual file name and file path if necessary. This will boot the TWRP image directly from memory without making any changes to your boot partition. Once the phone boots into TWRP install the TWRP installer zip from the install menu to make the necessary changes to the boot partition to permanently install TWRP.
