I use Audible on my Nord N10 to listen to books. Rather than having the app use battery in the background, I like to stop the program when I'm not listening. I haven't found a way to do this other than going into App info on the icon and clicking on Force stop. Just pushing it up doesn't stop it running in the background. What other options do I have?

Open the Audible App info, then select Advanced, Battery and set the App in Optimised, once you clear it from Recents app list it will force stop itself. This may also stop any notifications from within the app.

This can be done for any app where you don't want it doing background tasks, but will also stop notifications from that app as well.

That was great information. Thank you. By the way, do you know how I can get my Audible downloads to be stored on my SD card rather than internal storage?

Not familiar with the Audible App itself, unless they have an option in their settings to save to SD card. I don't know of any option within the phone settings to set SD card as default save option.

The app itself must have some way of overriding the Optimised setting, any app I have set optimised in Battery settings and when I clear the app from the Recents list it force stops.
