Where do you think he got it from?
Easy on the mustard.
Of course it's MKBHD's post in the wormhole
An official screen protector is already pre-applied on new phones, as mentioned on User Manual...
That's definitely plastic one, like every other OnePlus phone have, I think people here talking about the tempered glass like 3D tempered glass what OnePlus called it..
Can you make a one with poco and Mi too pls.
yes i agree,my bad
We are not worthy
then you can add up some extra features in upcoming OnePlus 7 which I expect fingerprint like screen reader, let's see
while using the security of finger print for apps it takes some more time to open apps like FB and what's app
wow... it's great
The fingerprint scanner is very slow and fails most of the time, I'm using the screen guard which came preinstalled on the mobile
can you guys mention which all screen protectors are being mentioned by OnePlus......coz at this right time. . .there is no protectors available in the OnePlus site
Apparently I have wrong fingers. In my case fingerprint scanner succeeds about 2 times out of 100. And yes, I was trying different fingers, removed pre-installed screen protector, registering fingerprint in dark... Those 400 ms Linus and others YouTubers were talking are just a delay before the fingerprint reading is considered to be failed and the face unlock comes into action. Until its software gets some fixes I'm using face unlock which is much faster when you're not pretending phone to be "reading" your finger.
sounds a bit pooey to me.
Hi, if I'm using the tempored glass..does this in display finger print will work as like before
will the 6t get a glass screen protector?
Thanks for the tips.
Sometimes I have to retry 2 or 3 times. Testing it with 2 different fingers and still the same. This is a cosmetic add but IRL isnt good.
Please can any software update help?
Just got word that my 8/256 6T was delivered to the house - can't wait to try this out. Will update once the requisite OTAs are installed after powering up.
Just bought my first ever OnePlus device. Upgraded to 9.0.5.
Trying the in-display fingerprint scanning. It works fine most times but sometimes on the ambient screen it just refuses to activate upon touch. Pretty sure it's a bug. Have to rely on faceid most times.
Secondly, it is very erratic. It is so slow on some occasions that I have to keep my finger on it for more than a full second for it to work. And sometimes it unlocks instantly.
Lastly, on the few occasions it unlocks instantly, my finger accidently presses the app that is on the home screen at the very same point as that of the scanner. It is very irritating to accidently press it and then I have to close it and then do whatever I wanted to do.
Is anyone else facing similar problems? I hope the OnePlus experience is not always this rough.
Face unlocking is far better then fingerprint..
