    Hey guys,

    Instagram recently announced its dark mode, which is not working for my phone, even though the dark theme is on. Any idea how to turn it on?

    hey so I'm both on night mode and dark theme, and my system is completely up to date - as is my Instagram app. but i still can't get dark mode? anyone got any ideas? thanks in advance x

    Thank you so much! I've been trying to figure this out for so long, I just assumed Android 9 didn't have it.

    You will have to go to the developer settings, and turn on the night mode from there. Just do a Google search and you'll see how to do it!
