This sounds like a nice business plan. The invite system is a double edged sword though; 1+ needs to access when to shift to without invites sales. Sticking to 'ONLY ONLINE' sale is a nice concept. It could lead to a win win situation for the manufacture and end users.

@Carl, I'm a realist and although your business model sounds solid and from what I can tell you have achieved your 3 main objectives. My question is simple, what word would you like your fans to spread? Review the posts and decide for yourself if what you read is what you want us and others to say about your company its products, and customer service.
Man I really want to help you promote your business. In order to do so I and countless others need to have the product in hand. Yet, we can not even get one, and those that have have to contend with a product facing a steady stream of not so positive press that has gone viral about issues with your phone in the social media?
Word of mouth is a powerful tool as you have stated. Concentrate on damage control, push out the ota fixes for both phones, come up with some solutions for the invite system which would give us some ammunition to combat the nay sayers and help turn the tide back in your favor. You have an excellent hardware package that is second to none and outclasses most of the competition. It's the software issues that make your stock fall. Brings these issues full circle and you may have 700,000 voices spreading the good word that OnePlus is a viable alternative in the marketplace. Make the big box companies stand up a take notice when you take away a portion of their market share.
well @Carl im a oneplus one owner and a smartphone technician and all i say to costumers when they come in the shop and ask what phone to buy i say oneplus! i even got my boss to import oneplus ones... yet still i ordered a oneplus 2 with the invite i recieved and i found out that when you order it to the USA you get the version one a2005 which doesnt have LTE brand 3 and i live in europe and would need LTE brand 3 yet your cosumer service keeps ignoring me when i send mails. if ill get the oneplus 2 one a2005 and not one a2003 (eu/asia version) its as good as useless to me please take care of it and answer my mails.....
