@Mr.BG are you still surfing with CM Browser? I had to wipe my OPX, because it all of a sudden started convulsing. So I goto cmbrowser.org resulting in "Attack Page". Tried downloading it from Google Play Store & wasn't able to. Then I get a DF-DLA-15 from Google after which I followed instructions to clear Dalvick Cache, cache in Google Play Store, Data in Google Play Services. So I can update google apps now.
But what is going on with my favorite CM Web Browser ??? Is it no longer a safe browser? Been posting all over without any satisfactory "News". Thank you

No, I dumped it after I found out that Cheetah turns out to be a Chinese data harvester. They collect your data with their apps, so the user is more of a milk goat for data, exit everything Cheetah Mobile. Can't find the article now, but there are several articles on this company and mal/spyware.

    Yup...

Currently Chrome. But I don't care for it much as Google isn't much better than Cheetah when it comes to turning customers into milk goats. But it has good integration and comes with the phone, so...

APUS looks good, Mercury browser also, or UC browser, I'll have to look into this but haven't got much time on my hands atm. Maybe it's time we start a thread on what browser is best, but it all depends on how you use it in the end.

Edit: now back on topic you OP you....

    Hello Mr. BG,

I just received the OTA update for MM on my OPX, should I use this guide again to perform the system update?

    Thanks again for your help.

I followed this procedure but the latest update seems to freeze my phone anyway ... At least I thinks so. It's been an hour since those white dots chase each other on a black screen. Any advice ?

no, you need to back them up first, get the photos or whatever you need out of the phone, it is just for safety, I did not have any losses doing a "wipe cache" only and flashing (since I have all my things backed up all the time I did not really cared and tried ;) ), worked like a charm with all the updates so far, so you should be fairly safe.
If you have apps on the SD card they (usually) should and will come back, eventually I got to reinstall them
