I don't think htc is screwing its customers. The prime will be larger and the plastic will be cheaper. Really it's just trying to expand its customer base.

Read what I have written in the entire thread, with what I meant met less userfriendly!

'I dind't meant the userfriendly of the usage of the phone. I meant the way Samsung and HTC treat their clients. ;) Bringing out the M8 prime en S5 prime a couple months after they introduced the M8 en S5 is shit and very annoying for their customers'.

I still fail to understand how releasing two or more flagships a year means screwing consumers, you buy the phone which suits your needs best & it's within your budget range, now if you want to have the latest smartphone and brag about it and boost your ego & feel better about yourself, that's just your problem

anyways I'd say over-marketing & over-hyping a product to the point of no return and coming up with annoying competitions & invite systems & not releasing the damn thing is screwing (with) the consumers

Well I don't care anyway. Cause I love my phone.
But trust me, there's not going to be a one prime. I'm 100procent sure that there is not going to be a ONE prime in my country and I'm 95procent sure that there is not going to be a Prime version at all.

At least Sony keep on giving you a decent update every 6 months and just have one flagship. I personally think the Z2 is the improved over its predecessor of all the other flagships despite z1 being newer than s4 and m7

U totally miss the point. A newer version of the same model have a huge impact on the life span of the pH yr using. Some first gen s4 user can't use back the telco company they with cos the company upgraded to 4g network forcing them to change a new ph or change telco . in the future yr pH might not get an update on os any more becos yr hardware can't cope with it. This might happen we never know

We will see. The future will tell.
But anyway, even if the prime would come out tommorow I still wouldn't mind.
Because it wouldn't change how much I love the M8. If you buy a top end phone today, a couple of months later there will always be a other phone with higher specs.
If I had bought the M8 just because it was the latest new phone at that time, well then I probably would mind about the prime. But I bought it because it looks en feels fantastic, and I love the aluminum.
So I think that HTC has pleased there customers a lot with new M8. I think the really delivert a top phone and I think it's great that 1 week after press release it was already availeble for customers.
I think that releasing a phone and after a month the customers still don''t know when or even if the can order. Well I think that is ripping off you're customers. And then saying that they are a starting operation, well that's lying to customers.
HTC has never ripped me off neither did they lie.
And I'm using HTC from the very very start. And I also had to deal with their customer service, and It's almost as great as the M8.
