Let us hope that OnePlus don't think to give te regular OnePlus Nord not 5G update because they launch a new version OnePlus Nord N10 5G and N100. Must this be real than is it disapointed for all customers that have the first edition from the Nord.

    Hi there,

What do you mean? OnePlus Nord is already compatible with 5G.

When i open 5G band with dial *#*#4636#*#* and choose NR to open 5G option than OnePlus erase each time the setting so only maximum 4+ g is supported. And i have in Belgium by Proximus a 5G plan from 50€ a month to have connection With 5G. Unfortunately the device don't give me entry

Are you using 2 SIM cards at the same time?

If yes, there is a message there that mentions 5G is not yet supported using both SIM cards at the same time.

If no, contact the carrier to ask them if your device is listed for 5G access (some carriers limit the access - this is nasty but it is real).

    Other things to try:
    - a prepaid SIM card with 5G from another carrier just for a double check
    - check the coverage area of the 5G of your carrier or the prepaid SIM mentioned above (do not trust the "5G coverage area" from your carrier, there are maps online with the true coverage area

You need to check with your carrier the support of 5g to your device brand and model

I have sel my nord for buy the 8 with my phone plan with big cashback so i must pay 0 euro. And the 8 support on my provider perfect 5g because Oneplus have make that possible. The provider support also the nord 5g but Oneplus must open that Chanels before get entry to 5g. It's the full responsible from Oneplus even when they sell it as a 5g device that support maybe never really 5g

I have asked provider and it's OnePlus that lock the entry to 5G on the nord. Have sell my nord last week and buy now the 8T 256gb and have now without problems 5G entry and entry to the 5G light from Proximus. Now i have 285 mbps speed and that's double so fast as the nord.

They clearly mention this issue on their website. I think you didnt read it before buy.
It will support 5g fully in upcoming updates. There were some issue when they launch.

So we ha ve to wait for 5g software updates.
