What's wrong with Meizu phones ? I've never seen them physically

Build quality wise they're built solidly. Up until recently they would exclusively use MediaTek processors. You don't need me to tell you the myriad of problems with these chips.

Where they really fail is in the software department. Their Flyme os does have a few nice features that stock android/ oxygen os lacks but that's where the things stop. They have been known to release extremely buggy "stable" releases which would lag/ overheat the device (funny since the prior commit or beta worked better).

Stupid asinine bugs like the refusal of respecting app defaults.

They are extremely behind in updating to the newest android release opting to upgrade the skin, features and functions of their own os

They have a myriad of versions. It's nearly impossible to flash one version that wasn't meant for that device. If you somehow manage to do it, be prepared to face numerous problems and broken features.

Their "A" (Chinese) version has the best features and these either make it slowly to their other versions or don't trickle at all. So you either deal with the Chinese ROMs at the name of having all these features, or miss out and stay on a version that is missing half of the things that make the phone unique.

They don't listen to their customers and you'd be lucky to have an update in time to fix issues you've been having with the device for 1 year plus. Their forums are filled with complaints.

Ben. First u need to buy the 7T. Then u need to use your 5T to study English or Indian language (because the instruction manual comes in those languages). Once you finish studying the languages, you can follow the instructions in the 7T to switch the phone.

Hope this helps. Have a nice day. ch0d
