My one friend has OPO and other has OPX.
Both phones have heating issue, but OPX have little more..
But looking at display of OPX, everything else looks so dull....i have found performance of both phone same.
can anyone help me in deciding in between OPO and OPX?

Who is saying that both have heating issues????
A working phone will always get warm

And for your decision: do a search on the forum. Loads of comparing threads about those 2

I have seen OPX getting hot after playing NOVA 3 for 10 mins and after 15 mins of skype calling.
but OPO also get heat while playing games after 20 to 25 mins...
i have searched a lot everywhere but i am so confused...
i have one question, is OPX getting hot due to onyx glass back and metal frame; is heat well dissipated due to glass and metal?

Well, since I'm a proud owner of an OPO, I'd definitely recommend it over the OPX. Their performance is about the same, but for OPO you can get a device-specific Cyanogenmod Operating System AND you will still love it if the backside gets damaged somehow.
Opo has definitely been built to last, whereas OPX will only be cool as long as it's beautiful.
It's like with women: OPO is smart and certainly beautiful. OPX is also smart, but more beautiful, but OPO cannot become UGLY if it gets scratched! ;) (that's why I prefere the OPO!^^)
    Think about it!

Ps: I have never had any OVERheating issues. Surley the pone is heating up while playing demanding games, but it won't shut down because of CPU temperature.

I used the OPO one year and now I'm happier with the slim OPX design
    Also got a better display
And I like the SD card slot

There is an Indian forum which is equally active I suggest you to put this question there rather than the international forum, price comparison with phones available in the local market are easily available there. Most phones available below 20k in india are running on SD 615 which is notorious for heating. All phones get hot while playing graphics intensive games, can't help it, SD 801 is a very stable and reliable processor

Any phone with a high end CPU will get relatively warm after carrying out intensive CPU task. It gets warm because the heat are throttled out of the phone, thus the phone gets warm. So dont worry about the phone getting warm, give it a rest if it gets too warm anyway, i think OPO is better unless you prefer a smaller phone that runs almost pure android with AMOLED screen. Cheers!
