I Broke my dash charge wire and cable. where to buy alternative and cheaper charger? Aug 7, 2019

    hi guys! I'm not able to charge my phone as I my charger cable worn out. OnePlus site shows the price as 2400₹ which is too costly. please help me to buy alternative charger. also anyone facing same issue

    That's not a worn out case. It's clearly a mishandled case. My oneplus one cable is still in new condition. So such issues are not faced by everyone.

    You can probably try some other cable available on Amazon India.

    ok. But i have been using this cable for 2.5 years now. I'm not that kind of guy who puts his phone for charge and then use it. i play games while charging or sometime calls or movie. so it's normal to worn out. i tried on Amazon but will they work?

    A OnePlus c-type cable costs 849 and that's the only thing that needs to be replaced. Unless you have broken the charger brick too!

    no. adaptor is safe. I was worried that they won't support each other

    Buy a new cable which costs INR 849 and that's it, you're good to go.

    Wrong. You cannot assure fast charging on a otherwise cheap unbranded cable.

    you sure? But if I plugged it with another type C cable, dash charge won't work.

    Thats right. I have tested this and no, fast charge works only with a proper combination of OnePlus adaptor and cable.

    Wait. Your adaptor is OnePlus branded and in perfect working condition, right?
    Just get a cable original accessories work flawlessly, irrespective of whether bought exclusively or a whole set.

    that looks a lot like the way lightning cables look after some of the middle school students have them here in Pennsylvania. I wish I could say how that happens. only can guess rough handling and unplugged by yanking the cord not pulling straight out at the rubber grip on the end.
