    Hey everyone,
It is really hard to make any changes in the obb or media folder of the oneplus 9 on android 12
My bootloader is already unlocked but i still cant make the desired changes which i actually need in the files app or even using any third party file manager app i just cant copy paste or add in new folder or even copy files to root directory please help this is really starting to get annoying!
    Regards,

Wouldn't he need root access to write in the root folder though?

He only mentioned that he has an unlocked bootloader. Hell, is there even a decent root for A12 already?

Guess what.... A11 also blocks access to the data folder.

You need root access to modify these....

Check XDA... Most rooting guides can be found there

CX can ask for extra permissions and grant it automatically.
Same thing in OBB folder. In 11 (Google) Files have access automatically too.

Initially CX could not do this either. I discussed this with the dev. At that current time he didn't think it was possible to grant access for any 3rd party. But there is apparently ways to do so after digging through the new scoped storage api.
