Which phone have you used in the past where you could see the screen well in sunlight?

Your only option is to set the display to vivid to correct for some of the washout.

OP7 Pro has 800 nits brightness making it better outdoors than just about anything but Samsung S10+ (at nearly double the price)

Always going to be difficult watching movies on a mobile in bright sunlight.
Watch indoors or shield screen from direct light perhaps?

thanks a lot for the prompt response, I used to have Sony Xperia XA ultra and I was able to watch Netflix no issue.

I understand that the brightness of the seven pro is higher than most other devices but the problem only appears on Netflix, I agree with you that I have no problem browsing or even playing games, the issue is only with videos, I already checked the same content on different phones and the 7 pro is still darker tardigrade that I cannot watch Netflix. got to be something else I need help

You can try adding Netflix to gaming mode and turn on the display enhancement feature there. I can't guarantee it will help but I suppose it's worth a try.

You can turn notifications back on. Gaming mode > how to show notifications > heads up.

Only HDR videos? Only non-HDR? What about YouTube? Local Video playback? Is the video enhancer turned on?

Your answers are always criticizing, this guy is simply asking a question and you start judging him. Questioning him. Who are you some OnePlus hired guy?

Criticizing? Who watches Netflix in sunlight on a phone and then complains that the screen is hard to see? Too many spoiled people crying with first world problems

If it’s hard to see then.. it is hard to see, it’s kinda a non issue but come on man I’ve seen you do a lot of good things on this forum and what you’re doing right now isn’t one of ‘em.

Tired of idiots crying. It's one of the most sunlight useable phones around, but its a PHONE. Phone screens just aren't visible in direct sunlight, but he calls the phone ʾrediculous'? The THREAD is!

Reddit... It certainly gets more attention than so called “community”.
Yea, yea, it’s part of the community as well etc etc.
