to be fair, more fool you for buying a nexus 5. will be legacy in 18 months
That was the one big wish, but sadly it doesn't look like OnePlus will be shaking anything up. Potential customers are tired of waiting and (like yourself) leaving everyday. If something drastic doesn't happen in the next couple of days, then I fear that OnePlus will become a industry joke. The OnePlus 'promise' was fun while it lasted, but endlessly waiting for something that never comes gets old quick.
Good luck with your Nexus 5.
I hope you enjoy your N5 buddy.
I am torn between the nexus 5 and the OPO at this time. I know the feeling. I think i am so close now so i don't want to leave. I understand. Yeah that mirroring feature looks nice. Good luck to you my friend. We will be here till 2015 i believe. Hehehe. Havefun with the nexus 5. I might join you some day.
Shit's getting unbearable here... recent new members spamming around... winning invites. We get nothing.
The forum's purpose of helping each other is just gone.
good choice !
Yup sounds like me. Got me by the balls
I mean, while you wrote a very nice post about how you're leaving, I severely doubt OP cares. Once they get all of the older members invites, they'll have accomplished their goal.
you're not being a dick, you're just telling me that I just got a greater chance of getting the phone
They never announce the Nexus at I/O - I still think they will do a nexus 6 - otherwise there is a flaw to their numbering system ;-) But we won't know that for sure until October!
So if I had an invite to give you....guess you wouldn't want it
You wont be disappointed with the N5,
And you will find that the quality of the N5 and the fact that it always gets the latest OS first,
Is a decision in the end that maybe was a better one for you.......
It's understandable. It's a total shit show here and it means nothing to participate on this forum. It's totally moronic that you need an invite or any other idiotic obstacle in the way in order to buy a phone. Bottom line: they don't have phones to sell. Who knows when they'll have them.
A week or so ago I posted some comments about the company losing customers, for whatever the reason is. Many, many people have commented on this and while we all agree the "invite" system is a full-blown social marketing ploy, losing even one customer who is dissatisfied should tell them this continues to be a flawed concept.
There are certainly armies of people on here who will disagree with me and say they'll wait until the end of time for the "invite." For myself I've watched this marketing effort arc from being amusing to me and effective, to this very day when I'd say it is time to throw in the towel and purchase something that is readily available and more importantly, something you may purchase today if you're so inclined.
I don't know if I will ever receive an "invite." I surely won't agonize over this.
i m totally with you!
There are not any rules ,neither principals .
Moderators are sleeping .
so it became chaos and shit.
this is not a comunity anymore
its a jungle!
Apologies, this post has been deleted by author.
The Nexus 5 is a pretty cool phone. I hope you'll like it too
Which phone would that be? Certainbly not the OPO. People with invites don't even have the phone because (guess what) it's NOT shipping. At some point you will feel like the original poster does, and you too will realize that it's time to look elsewhere for a different phone.
