Do not use the tempered glass protector for the phone with a 2.5D screen. I use the Ringke Invisible Defender to replace the factory installed screen protector and it's all fine after I wasted 2 of them (I bought the 3 + 1 packs).

Seems like the phone itself, is not a problem, it's because u tried to install the tempered glass. Just don't use it and u should be fine.

Currently, I rock my OP3T with Spigen Rugged Armor and I don't have any problems with it.

Oh please STFU and go away. You are too incompetant to install the screen protector and you blame the phone? Know what? OnePlus already resolved that by preinstalling a protector on the phone before you got it. What did you do with the factory installed one?

    Never mind. Don't answer.

I think OnePlus should Never Settle for moronic users and enforce an IQ test before buying

Had 3t since February 4th, running fully naked (no case, no skin, no screen protector). You own the phone, not the other way around. It's a piece of equipment, that's all. Use it and chill out, don't worry about"protecting" it. All that does is it keeps it pristine for the next owner. All those accessories will run upward of $40-50 which is about what my phone will sell less for due to some light blemishes in few years. Except that I will actually have used the phone instead of freaking out and keeping it in a plastic and rubber slab with layers on top of layers that make it ugly as shit.

Bro, One Plus 3 T has curved screen display. If you had purchased full screen tempered glass, you can just massage the screen slightly so that air bubbles will be removed. While fitting the otter box case silica first layer please be extra safe such you are not disturbing the tempered glass. First few days it will be tough for you to Fit it. I use both and I don't have any issues.

Yes, there is slight amount of the screen not covered on each side of the film.

In my experience, it does not get scratched easily. I use a holster on my hip to hold my phone.

2.5D glass means that the edges are curved but not as drastically as the Samsung curve.

Screen protectors can be a right pain in the rear at time to install, if you have a dust problem ( ie you live in a house with carpets) try installing it in the bathroom.
if you need more sticky labels, use some adhesive tape instead
I'm using an orzly tempered glas screen protector with the oneplus 3 flip case and they both play well together, however theres a slight ridge at the sides of the protector.
one thing to note, is that under certain lighting conditions you may also get a rainbow effect, i notice it under Flourescent tubes, CFL lamps, but not incandescent, halogen or LED

I use the manufacturer installed screen protector and black NILLKIN slim case. It looks really cool and there never was any bubble.
