I know, dude. Here's mine, showing WHY this happens. It's somehow related to only touching the metal frame's bottom, which is most likely connected to the phone's radios. This, in turn, creates an electrical imbalance which makes the digitizer go haywire:

Touching any other part of the metal frame together with the bottom seems to "fix" it (proof in the last part of my video above). Switching the phone to airplane mode makes the issue go away altogether. Having the phone inside of a full case (bumper case, stock TPU case etc.) will "fix" it as well as you won't be touching any part of the phone's frame at all.

So now we know how to replicate the issue. It's just a question of whether all OP7 EUs have it and whether it can be fixed/alleviated by a SW update.

Someone here has sent their phone to OnePlus for fixing (user JPare). I'm waiting for them to get their phone back and see if they've actually fixed it. If they have, i'll send mine in, too.

I have almost same Nillkin glass (with black edges)... I don't know how this is possible, but I have been using this glass for 3 days and I haven't seen the issue yet.

Could be that touching the screen from a certain distance (through the glass) alleviates the symptoms a bit.
