    Hiya all!

Today I purchased a OnePlus 7t pro from a reputable eBay vendor (b/c I primarily reside in the US) and there are 3 main questions I have.

1- The vendor states that the phone is the HD1910 version of the phone. This means that it is the Chinese phone correct? In the description, it states that it has the global Rom installed and I'm wondering if there will be any problems having the claimed flashed "Global Rom" on the Chinese phone as opposed to normally using an HD1913 (EU Rom) besides network differences.

2- Since the device is the Chinese model with the Global Rom flashed onto it, will/are there anything I should watch out for? Will there be any issues with security/ OTA updates? Has there been any issues beforehand?

3- Does the device have warranty or should I put base the Squaretrade 2 year warranty upon purchase?

Thanks for reading through my post!
    Any response is appreciated [e]1f60a[/e].
    Have a nice one!

Your device will not have any official warranty. You will need to ask the eBay seller if you have any problems

About your other questions, without knowing how or what the seller did to convert the h2os to oxygen os, there is not much to say. You will have to wait to see it.

Hi I also made the same purchase and I bought the square trade warranty as well my Ebay seller has a 30 day return. My question is have you had any issues with your phone on US carriers for example I have T-Mobile and I've read comments that the phone would not have fast 4g lte signal because it doesn't have band 71. Have you experienced any of this? I'd appreciate the info thanks

That's great! Welcome to the OnePlus Community!
Also, the concern over network speeds are not really relevant b/c the only scenario where you'll see any difference (which isn't even that big tbh) is if you were to stand directly next to an LTE modem.
Also, the phone does have the official global rom and everything is in the box. I've had the phone for a few weeks and I can verify that there is no issue!
Since you have T-Mobile you *may have to call them to say you made the shift to another phone or else some services may or may not function properly ex. messages.
I personally have At&t and I didn't need to call them and everything works fine.

    Have a nice day!

Thank you for clarifying that for me I was starting to bug out. Now I'm even more excited to get my phone. I'm going to unlock the bootloader as soon as I receive it tomorrow and contact T-Mobile, again thanks. [e]1f60a[/e][e]1f60a[/e][e]1f44d[/e][e]1f44d[/e]

If I were you I would return it that squaretrade warranty only kicks in after manufacturers warranty ends my phone that I just bought gave an error saying your device is corrupt it can't be trusted will not boot. squaretrade said that I have to make a claim with manufacturer. Well there is no warranty. In returning it came defective right out box.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
Would you mind telling me the Seller who you bought it from? it very well could be different from mine, plus, it possibly might've been a stolen device.

Yeah, it's a shame that happened to your device. Press "F" in chat for our man.
It seems like your device caught a case of the gARbAGE. I would've done the same as you and returned it/ exchange.
Also, I haven't received any OTA updates, but I don't think they even released any, to begin with... atleast no that I know of. I think the only update was put on hold aswell... lol.

Have you been warned not to factory reset, because it will erase the Google Play store and erase the Global Oxygen OS Rom? This can very well be a problem down the line if you wish to upgrade, and need to reset.

haha, funny thing you ask... I just reset my phone 2 days ago just b/c, and everything is here! No problems at all!

I even got a system update a few mins ago! No warnings or anything.

I think you just ran into a bricked unit. Unlucky.
