38r was too buggy for me. I tried different mods but the best one that works flawlessly right now is the nightlies CM roms.

I was using 33r and had almost no issues, updated and now nothing but issues. I sure they will fix the problems in the next update but I'm afraid that's going to be 3 to 4 months away.

    Please go to
    https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/BACON-213 ,
sign in there and vote for this bug.

In addition, please create a bug report like described here by a Cyanogen employee for every reboot:

"XNPH38R includes the new CM Bug Reporter where you can capture a full bugreport and send it directly to us (on another JIRA project locked down to developers only). The bugreport includes the last_kmsg and you don't need to be rooted to capture a bugreport. It takes a little setup so if you are experiencing random reboots please do this ahead of time:

In Settings->About phone tap build number several times to turn on Developer options; then go back to Settings, hit Developer options and enable USB debugging and 'Power menu bug reports'.

After one of these random reboots hold the power button and tap the bug report option. Once it's generated (a minute or two later) tap the notification and send it to 'CM Bug Report'. Reference this bug number (BACON-213) in the subject or body. It will take several minute to scrub all your personal data out of the report, just let it keep going until it says success.

You can do the setup after a random reboot as long as you don't reboot the phone again before capturing the bugreport."

Bad move, my man. 38R is bugged like crazy. You should have waited for a stable update to come out.

Why? Bit drastic, start with a bit of housekeeping like cleaning cache. If persists try to isolate what's causing it such as app not optimised.
