Screen lag is a natural thing for casting
How much lag are you experiencing? And are you casting from router or mobile hotspot?

Ohh maybe its due to that.
Routers are preferred for casting since they have higher bandwiths
You'll need a router to ensure minimum lag and also enjoy the full capabilities of the TV.

Yea.. I have experienced that issue too. Install AirScreen App and open it on the TV and now Connect to AS Server instead of the TV in the list of devices from phone and the lag reduces by a lot. Let me know if that works for you.

This is a usual behavior of casting feature. There is a lag of about 0.5 to 1 sec while chromecasting -
    1. Currently there are no fixes for this issue, but a high speed internet and a router with better range is advisable for chromecasting.
    2. While watching content, the audio is also delayed, but the video and audio are delayed but accurately synced, so there will be no problem in watching videos/movies, but the delay can interfere in browsing or gaming.
