The second round of IDEA 2.0 has begun. I'm sharing my IDEA with you. If you like it, then vote on it. 🤗
If the phone is stolen or lost, the trouble is much more...🙁
    My idea is,
Whenever we turn off/restart the mobile, the phone will ask for fingerprint / passcode / pin number. If fingerprint / passcode / pin number matches then the mobile will be turn off/restart.
If you have this feature, the thief will not be able to turn off the mobile even if the mobile is stolen. And we can track it by calling our SIM or by going to Google's Find My device website. 😃
If you like it, then vote on it. And share your ideas. 🤗

Second round have started. My idea isn't a simple idea or new feature. It's an improvement of the most gesture used.
    See https://www.oneplus.com/fr/communityideas#/detail?threadId=150

I want to be able to slide from the left side without sending a "go back/Previous" to the app. So gestures should be a small part of the screen on the left. Or better, to be able to enable/disable the left side for system gestures (We still have the right side for that).
So that will be easier to open menus on many apps (including Google ones) without closing them.

    My Idea

    Power saving mode

An extensive phone user, I know how important is phone battery backup. Most of the times, apps and processes running in background eat up the battery and it's difficult to manage with Little power

To have power saving mode where I can choose some basic apps to use restrict rest of the apps and processes to stop using battery until the mode is turned off. In this mode only few basic apps will be usable which can extend the battery usage

This will help in conserving the battery until you find time and charger to charge your phone. Many a times battery becomes low even before the end of the day and this mode will help to not let the phone dead. Many phone Manufacturers were already giving this option on their phones and it will be good if this important feature come on OnePlus too

Like my idea to get the feature

#1. Shortcut to hiding Caller ID in outgoing calls

As someone who now works remotely, I find I'm frequently having to set my Caller ID to 'Number hidden in outgoing calls' to prevent clients, companies, etc, obtaining my personal telephone number.
I want a toggle button in the Phone app, a dedicated widget, or shortcut to the Caller ID setting.
So that remote workers and private people can quickly and simply switch between having their telephone number hidden in outgoing calls, or not.
The Caller ID setting is hidden deep within the Phone app. To find it, users (of the Nord, in this example) need to open the app and go through the following options: vertical ellipsis> Settings> Calling accounts> SIM 1(network)> Additional settings> Caller ID To switch back to the network default, users need to go back through the same options.

#2. Select the icon for Home screen folders

As someone who is a smidge OCD, I like to keep related apps together in a folder on my Home screen. For example, I've one that contains the Fortnite app, Epic Games Launcher and a server-status shortcut.
I want the option for folders to be represented with a single icon, rather than a tiled arrangement of mini-icons. Reverting back to my example, I would replace the default tiled-icons on my Home screen with the Fortnite app's icon. When tapped, the 'Fortnite' folder would open, revealing its contents.
So that way, Home screens appear less cluttered and busy, whilst still allowing users to group related apps.

    #3. 'Always Brilliant' Brightness Slider

As someone who hides what's open on their smartphone by switching adaptive brightness off and bringing the brightness way down, I've a major issue trying to use my phone after moving somewhere brighter.
I want the brightness slider to always be visible (or for the brighter end of the slider to be brighter than the opposite end) even when the display's brightness is on its lowest setting.
So that when I use my phone somewhere brighter, I can adjust the brightness slider (or reactivate adaptive brightness) without inadvertently tapping any of the surrounding icons.
[Did I use bright/brighter/brightness enough times?]

#4. Low battery notification light or pop-up

As someone who spends a lot of hours on their smartphone playing games and streaming movies, it is infuriating when the phone suddenly shuts down without warning due to the battery reaching 0%.
I want (need) notification of the battery having just 2/5/10% remaining - a notification that would overlay a full screen movie I'm watching or game I'm playing (without obstructing gameplay). This could be in the form of a small red battery symbol dropping down from the top of the screen.
So that whilst I'm in the middle of *pwning* other players online, I have time to plug my charger in before the phone shuts down.

I would like to share my idea for the second round. Custom ringtone vibration pattern would give a much more personalized experience and will be useful for easily recognizing phone calls. Please support the idea if you like it.

KEEP THE SOFTKEYS LOCKED. THEY CONSTANTLY UNLOCK THEMSELVES DEPENDING ON THE APP BUT DON'T RELOCK UPON EXITING THE APP. ALSO CHANGE THE ICON. THE CONCENTRIC CIRCLES ARE VAGUE. USE THE PADLOCK ICON.
