I've been waiting for a few thoughts on the OnePlus 6 before I jump from my OnePlus 5 .....Ive decided to stick with my OnePlus 5 and see what 6t or 7 is like
I had the same problem with my 3T back in the days. Solved after an update........
It looks like you are indoors, so although you can see pretty well there is probably not that much light. The eye is pretty awesome in adapting to very different light levels.
Slow motion video is hard, because you have to capture a lot of frames per second, and that means that you have very little time for each one. In your captures, you are trying to record at 240 and 480 fps. That means that the camera has at most 1/240s (or 1/480 in 720p) for each frame. That's a short time, so you don't get much light in the sensor. The camera compensates by raising the sensor sensitivity (the ISO), which makes the image brighter, but it amplifies both the image data and the noise so the image loses quality and you see that as blurriness.
If you take a photo in the same conditions and check the image metadata you will probably see a shutter speed around 1/20 or 1/10, which means that the camera had 10 to 20 times more time to gather light. But if you use those shutter speeds then you can't do slow motion video because each frame takes too much time.
Slow motion video needs a lot of light, so you will have a lot more luck outdoors. If you want to do it indoors I would try a video of something small with a light really close by (something like a desk light).
I totally agree with you. I checked with bright light and it works fine.
I noticed the same issue, in a room full of light, the video comes out dark
