When will oneplus provide google discover or feed in the oxygen OS for devices below oneplus 8?. It's been almost a year and no changes were made after many requests. Why is this feature ignored and made not available to any devices below 8? Very disappointed with oneplus regarding this. It looks like oneplus 7t series and older series are purposely being ignored when It comes to updates and features .

Did you try the beta for OS11 on the 7?
Maybe you should see what this includes?

Using a launcher like action launcher on your current update can also give you a google feed if it's so important for you.

If there's an option to use both shelf and google feed in oxygen OS for oneplus 8 series and the new devices then why it's not available for the older devices?
If I have to shift to any third party launcher for a feature then what's the point of oxygen OS ? It's not that the feature isn't available in oxygen OS just that it's purposely not available for older devices

OnePlus 8-> oxygen os 11-> has google feed
OnePlus 7t-> oxygen os 10-> doesn't have google feed?

If the above is the current state, then:

Maybe it's in oxygen os 11, and it will be available when we get oos11?

I guess you're in the wrong feed and I've been talking about google feed since beginning. I haven't started the topic of oxygen 11 . You are trying to oppose without knowing the facts

I think its a bit stupid to include Google feed in some devices, and not in others. Especially when there is just 6 months difference between their releases.
Also there are models, in 7T series ,also 6T series such as T-mobile which does include Google feed.
Why so much segregation between devices, even different models of same device? Running same launcher version .
Isn't it a nightmare to maintain? And buggy ? Why not have a common build for all devices and models?
No wonder the software QA is going down release by release.
