    Did you already contact your provider if they see anything odd with your SIM or with their service/?
    Did you check if you have the same behaviour with an other SMS app?

    I have raised a complain with the service provider.. Their initial response was to check handset as nothing is wrong with the sim.. But I have asked them to check again as I am not sure whats wrong exactly.. Thought will check here if anyone has faced such issue before.

    I think you may try this.. Take out your jio sim and clean it with a fabric and then put it back to your device and switch On.. see whether the problem solve.. if not then try to reset the jio network setting...
