AnishaKalra , via OnePlus 9R , Jun 18, 2021 : Hi, I bought a new OnePlus 9R recently. The normal camera is working fine but there are weird lines when I use the rear camera of instagram and Whatsapp. Does anyone know ehat is causing this, or should I get the handset replaced? I'm attaching two images for reference, one was clicked with normal camera and the other using instagram camera. Please resolve this issue @OnePlus or replace this handset while it is still in the replacement period.
Swejuggalo , via OnePlus 9 Pro Stellar Black , Jun 18, 2021 : Probably some difference in resolution and mode used in combination of the frequency of the screen. Similarly to the differences in how slow motion will show the flicker on some light sources.
AnishaKalra , via OnePlus 9R , Jun 20, 2021 : Actually it's not just the screen. In daylight this doesn't happen, but in normal room light, I can witness these lines, not just the screen but in the background too.

Stock camera probably make use of the flicker sensor (looks like it was a second flash) while some 3rd party apps can't. This might be necessary to report both to Oneplus and to the app devs. View attachment 1619161
S1638516709335 , Dec 3, 2021 : I have a similar problem. In WhatsApp when I take a photo with the application camera, I frame an object. And when I take the photo, the framing of the object is different. It is as if I had taken the photo with a different camera from the first focus. I show the two photos. The first is from the focus and the second from the shot from the WhatsApp camera. Can you help me? please
