    I have two questions:
    1. Are you rooted?
    2. Did you tamper with system files/apps in any way?

Well, I can try :) when I got the Ota I was rooted, with TWRP and xposed, from what I've read you're not rooted? (never mind misread) Do you have xposed or any other mods installed? I think lockscreenmods might interfere as well.. I used this method to return to 100% stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-return-opo-to-100-stock-t2826541

To use this you must follow the guide on opo forum for unlocking your bootloader first. I can try and help you with this if you want :)

The method I used will however remove Everything from your storage.. I just remembered it should be enough to flash only the system.img! That way you keep all apps and so on.

Based on my research, you either removed or tampered with the Photo Screensavers app, which is what is causing this error. Why didn't you just disable it in Settings?

I'm trying to update to 38R and getting the same Status 7 error. I'm completely stock, no root, no side loaded apps, just good old fashioned 33R.

PLPeeters mentioned that it was because of the photo screen savers app. Not sure i know what this app is (android newbie here, iPhone convert). Where would i go to reset it to default or disable it. Can't seem to find it anywhere in settings.

    Thanks!

I was included mirror enabler, the program changes the data, which checks the archive with the firmware, you have the root and what the application is changed which is the desired settings. I unplugged the mirror enabler and install the updates.
