He gives you instructions to flash SuperSU, SuperSU IS root.

If you run any apps requiring root after installing SuperSU you should get a popup asking whether to provide root privileges for the app you are running.

Is there any way to change kcal screen settings in h2os (rgb, saturation, value, contrast)? Some app, or xposed module, anything?
Obviously temperature control bar is not enough, not even close.

Go to install from USB (stock recovery) / advanced -> adb sideload (TWRP) and type "adb sideload nameoftherom.zip" on your command prompt. Might have to install adb drivers first. It's essentially the same as flashing in recovery.

Wasn't on me. Some users have experienced better battery life, though, so I guess it depends on how you use it.

Hmm okay.. I only use whatsapp, a little browsing but no gaming.. 2-3 YouTube videos but nothing special.
    50% wifi / 50 % mobile data
    This is my scenario...

Pretty much similar to mine. Screen on drain was higher than on OOS (according to GSam Battery Monitor).

Thanks buddy!! Maybe I give it a try :)
So it's simply not a "heavy user" scenario? :)
    What are you running currently?

Never figured how this becomes default, I mean who charges a phone via a computer anyway? Default should be 'file transfer' so who in the world do I phone about that? :)

Probably not, then again I haven't pushed it to the limits on OOS either so I can't say which one would be more opyimized for that. Then network signal strength plays part etc.

Right now I'm on OOS 3.0 Beta. Waiting for official CM13, then I'll probably try it along with bunch of custom ROMs.

Guys, i have very wired situation with my phone. I on OOS 3.0 l, i tried several time to flash twrp recovery to get the root access. After flashing when i reboot my phone, it seems like, OS flash the stock recovery back to the device everytime and next time in recovery mode, it always get me to the stock one. I did same flashing procedure several time, but no help. Later after flashing twrp, i decided not to reboot fully but shutdown and tried directly enter to the recovery mode. Which really work. But still when i try to flash supersu, there os nothing actually happen in terms of command result just 'simulating partion' thats all! . And after again reboot, twrp gone! Please help.
    Thanks in advance

How's the GPS on this rom? I've been using the old 3.0 beta and the GPS lock is horrible on fitness tracking apps. Anyone using strava or something similar and can give me some feedback? Is it solid? I've been having trouble oos 3.0 where I loose a lock after about 5 to 10 min. Anything similar on h2os?
