So there was a speedtest done by C4Etech and in this speedtest the Oneplus 3 went up against the Exynos variant of the Galaxy S7 Edge. The fact that the GS7 edge won wasn't shocking but what happened to the Oneplus 3 was. Check it out and comment below. Do you think that this was a firmware issue or what? If this is a duplicate I apologize.

The only problem is the memory. Our girl is not keeping things in memory thats only the issue .. Its clearly a bug .. Cause a 6Gb Ram phone can easily beat him up ... So clearly its oxygen osos issue .. If they fix this. This will be truly great phone .. Even my OnePlus one with game like GTA San Andreas keeps the game in memory .. But ... I know its Cyanogen ...

They should improve this OS ... And make it like Cyano ... It would be cool ...

It wasn't a bug...it was how OOS is setup to be, to keep small amount (20 apps) in memory so the battery can last at least for a day....

    Just a quick comparison Galaxy S7 edge ( 32gb ) €819 ---- OP3 €399

    819 - 399 = 420

Have to agree, Galaxy S7 is almost twice as expensive. imo still worth it.

Original vs Original = S7 win
Tweak vs Original = OP3 win
Tweak vs Tweak = S7 Win

that 2 win for S7...S7 still better then OP3...

I've seen the new video of the tweaked OP3 against the GS7 edge and it won the second round but I've never seen a video of both tweaked so I can't verify the claim that the GS7 edge would win but I believe it. But price is a major factor, I totally agree!

What you mean by tweaking gs7?
First thing, if you root s7 you will lose warranty due to Samsung policy and implementation of KNOX.
Second, tweaking max amount of apps in background won't help s7, its already keeping all apps in memory so it's not going to change anything.

But to be fair, one thing can make galaxy S7 faster in this test, disabling double click to open camera if it is possible.

Look at their more recent video. They tweaked a setting to allow the op3 to use all 6gb of its ram and it actually did slightly better than the E8890 variant of the S7!

I'n not talking just about ram tweak...i was referring about all tweak that both can use as comparison but the fact and the matter is OP3 need a tweak just to merely beat S7 not to mention 4GB ram in S7 alone is enough to beat 6GB ram in OP3 (without tweak)....
As for KNOX, tripping it doesn't void your warranty in certain EU country as they are protected on Directive 1999/44/CE law...

What i find the most interesting is that it seems to be an issue with the processor and not with the ram...
If you compare the s7 with snapdragon to the exynos you will find the reloading of games only in the snapdragon version of the phone. I wonder why nobody mentions this.

Ye, try to explain it in store or service :D, good luck. I had Galaxy S3 (without KNOX) with root and custom ROM, after 1 year my power ON button stuck inside (pushed in) without reason, causing bootloop. Service put sticker on my phone and warranty, said they wont help even if law is on my side (they should fix hardware even if I changed software). If i want to argue i need to sue them, lol. I don't have time for this, everyone need working device right in time.

Other than the build prop entry and turning off animations, I haven't seen any other tweaks discussed. :)
