    Hi guys,
the inbuilt speed meter is very bad as is stops showing speed if more than 2 icons are there on top bar(where battery and signal strength). like if we turn on bluetooth or any other app whose icon will appear on top when turned on the meter will disappear. i am using external app to see my network speed. please change the position of meter to the left i.e. on the right side of time, which now currently my external meter app is using or do something about icons. and please please don't ask for logs use your own phone and see for yourself. this is not my phone problem its your app's issue.

If you're not ready to share logs, you shouldn't ask for a solution to a problem.
Logs are what helps the team to find out what exactly went wrong during the time problem occurred.

That is by design. Either try disabling a few icons which you prefer less than the net speed icon, or get used to it. There is limited space in the status bar. Also, third party app notifications are on the left side, while system setting notifications are on the right side. So there doesn't exist sense in mixing the two.

Sharing log is valid if problems lies in my phone or is a big issue. but it can be seen if these see with there own phone. why should i waste my time going to logkit and share all data. have you shared logs with them before. they demand a huge list.

if i have to get used to things then i should have satisfied with Nokia 3310 and spending 38k on One plus. if they developed speed meter then they should improve it also. and good quality always comes when there is competition. third party apps exist only when the users want more.

Dude in India you have to look for a place where signal comes most and speed is high. so have to constantly check for better speed area.

You do know that you can swipe down to see the quick settings panel and find the net speed icon on top. Else, disable the icons that are redundant to you. If that doesn't work for you either, then use a third party app.

maybe a word with your service provider to plant more base station around the area you will be visiting. working towards solutions in parallel would be better.

it seems to me that internet is very important to you, but have you try to utilise portable hotspot to tackle those problematic area? or perhaps one or another mobile service provider could have better signal coverage than the other. having 2 different service provider sim cards may also be a solution rather than just relying on the meter and walkabout for better reception.

This is not a issue. It is the Notch that is pushing the icons towards left.

Now you have some options here. Since you haven't shared a screenshot of your status bar, I can't suggest exact one but..

    1) You can enable battery % and hide the battery icon.

    2) Set font size to small and follow 1) to get more icons in case of the Bluetooth device battery icon interruption.

    3) Disabling VoLTE (it is not a viable option). In 4G ( Remember this is forum so if this isn't applicable to you, that doesn't mean it isn't applicable for anyone else) if you have enabled VoLTE, the icon it self consumes a lot of space.

    4) Disabling Notch ( This will result in a big black bar at top but will give you all icons)

Sharing a screenshot of problem always helps to identify a proper solution. From now if you can, please do share it so that it can be easier for anyone to provide you with a situation.

You can always share your suggestions through feedback Suggestions.

    1. Already disabled and set to battery% on very first day
    2. Disabling Volte is not an sol
    3. disabling notch is also not a sol.
4 . font size dec. won't give you space already tried.

The issue is of placement of speed meter, if it is placed left side, right to time can solve the problem.
